Our Commitment

The FW Serra, Inc. team is a committed member of our community. We believe we have a special responsibility in helping out our community and we dedicate many hours of our time to ensure that we can make a difference.

Lisa Marie Serra heads our “Community Involvement” Program.

Lisa brought more than 15 years of sales and marketing experience when employed with Pinpoint Marketing & Communications, Inc. She is now working with her husband Fred Serra handling marketing, community relations and new business development. 

Lisa is a member of the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors, B&G Club Golf Tournament Committee member and on the “Back-A-Kid” Committee. She is also on the Valley United Way Fundraiser Campaign, Birmingham Group Corporator and is involved in “Team, Inc’s.” Annual “Men Who Cook” Fundraiser, Shelton High School Lacrosse Committee and the Shelton High School Quarterback Committee.

Carol Pendagast, HR Director, and other members of our staff are also involved in the community and are members of various organizations.

Help the Valley become a National Heritage Area.  –

The Valley United Way, Healthy Valley Committee is actively pursuing the designation

as a National Heritage Area from the US Parks Service.

This will mean Naugatuck River Valley National Heritage Area status and

as much as $1,000,000 per year in grants for the next 10 years.

This designation will also help the following:

  • Preservation and restoration of historical sites
  • Expansion of arts and education programs and facilities for adults and children
  • Enhancement of the local economy through expanded tourism
